the shading using colored pencils is easy actually. put a layer of pencil then color it with any color you want ;however , make sure to make a very smoth layer with colors such as yellow to avoid getting unwanted color.
the colors of the skin are really hard to get sometimes , anyhow , try to mix pink with orange then balance between them using either brown or red or the both

apply the same rule in painting , darken the color using it's opposit or black , lighten it using white
drawing with pencile is very helpful
