(Claymore spoilers)Yeah, I KNOW that Galatea's blind right now but I really wanted to draw the silver eyes so... and I couldn't have drawn anyone else BESIDES Galatea cuz she's my favorite
and I'm lazy and all that.Btw, has anyone seen how HUGE Raki is now? like omg?? I bet he took steroids or something while he was incognito those seven years. I mean, he doesn't even look hot or anything. Just Hulk-ish (no offense, Hulk.) He was SOO much cuter back when he was little, normal-sized Raki. Gawd. I don't know WHAT the mangaka was thinking. I mean... GAWD! Yeah. Just gawd.

some of the best claymore fanart i've seen. are you still following the manga? vol 22 just came out in english last week and it's getting prettyyyyy crazy. and i think raki looks fine, he had to pack on the muscles to impress clare

not really :/ I feel bad about it, but I lost interest some time ago. I got to the part where they revealed Raki after the time skip. Maybe I'll pick it up again one of these days though, if you promise me it's good. XD Thank you for the comment!

I promise it's worth your time! I'm picky and only like to read from actual mangas, but if you don't want to buy them I'm sure you can find them online somewhere.

the only thing about licensed manga they're selling is they're sooo behind the Japanese raws... but ok haha. I'll look into it

And Raki, eh... I thought he looked AWFUL in the first chapter he appeared (was it 80?), but the next chapter he didn't look quite as bad, or as beefy as he seemed in those few panels. But overall he seemed less hate-able, more self-effacing, and not whining about being STROOOOONG or protecting Clare or being with her FOREVARRRRR. Rather than a romance being alluded to he just said he admired and wanted to be a bit like her. Which I can respect and counts as maturity on his part.
Also, it was awesome when he calls himself an idiot, admits he's weak without Prissy, and got picked up and shaken by Rene. 
And I was NEVER one to defend Raki! I still think he's boring, and hope we have way more Miria and Ratea plot than Raki, but so far I hate him less than I expected.

lol you hate Raki? I didn't think he was TOO bad before but yeah, now I'm pretty annoyed with him (no, not JUST because of his beefyness!) He's with Priscilla (lol prissy) and... like... URGH! I thought he was supposed to love Clare. Sheesh! And you can bet he's gonna protect Prissy when Clare tries to kill her.
He is... still very beefy. Even after the reappearance. WHy couldn't the mangaka have made him Sid's size???

Actually, I like him better now. And I like Raki/Prissy, HATE HATE HATE Raki/Clare... But I don't really like Clare pairings except AU Clare/Teresa (and Clare/Jean). For whatever reason I think raki and prissy are cute, but I still don't want to see them getting it on, UGH
He doesn't look AS big... but still looks kinda weird... Relative to how he looked younger I would have imagined him more wiry in body type.
I was just impressed that he seemed more mature about his feelings and understanding of his humanity. Plus it doesnt' seem to be going the way I feared (Raki obsessed with a romantic pairing w/Clare)
More Ratea is ALWAYS good! And... I like Rene...

I just like the pairing in a cute way, their interaction is... uh, cute. I can't think of a better word.
