So for that random reason, I'll be making and posting a series of fan artworks about my favorite red heads in animation, gaming, what have you.Dexter's Mom, for example. =3

its a very nice style you have, and beautiful colours.
i could tell immediatly that it was dexters mom, the short choppy hair and the yellow rubber gloves that she refuses to take off.
the eyes are mesmorizing, perfect infact.
i truly love it
people should cut red heads some slack, its a very pretty colour, i ponder over the idea of dying my hair red, but it'd cause too much controversy among my classmates and i dont weant that hassle atm really.

Your style goes well with the character. You have got all of the basics of that character, from the show, and have made some strikingly good choices in how to dealt with her characteristics.

Redheads are indeed very nice characters. That is why my own original character is one. Though her hair can be depicted as a pinkish color to fit her melon theme. Anyhow, nice work.
That reminds me, I should draw that human-kirby I was talking about a while back. But I have some finals stuff to take care of before that.

I like this idea you've come up with, and I have to say that this is a nice way to get started. You did a good job of taking Dexter's mom, a character that is very simplified in the original series, and giving her 'more form,' for the lack of a better term at the moment. At the same time, she can still be seen as that caring and hard-working lady from the cartoon. It's a very nice blend of your style with the spirit of the original work.
I don't see too much to point out from a critical point of view, but maybe you could have done something with the background (darken it, perhaps) that would have made it easier to see that Dexter's mom is actually cleaning; it can be kinda tough to see the spots of water as it presently is. I know that wasn't much, but I tried.
Anyways, I'm really interested to see who else you do for this redhead theme. You have some rather cool choices out there, which should make this a rather fun time. Keep it up!

..It took me a second but I DEFINITELY recognized her before I read the description, lol.
I think the only thing I can say about it is her hands are too small. Other than that, this is fantastic! You have an awesome style and the coloring fits it well.

Oh great job on a classic. You did a great job representing her character. In the show thinking about she always did have a big butt, but I never really payed attention(lol). I think you really captured her most dominant traits in this one pic. She has that complusive cleaning behavior and a caring up lifting spirt. Very great job Leynas. Wow. That simple frame REALLY brings a nice glowing addition to the background's colors.
And I just love how you did this. You kept a lot of the original style, but you drew it in your own technique. I love it. And right before you started coloring it, the lines looked really cool! How they were light and dark in places.
It's always neat to watch someone else draw and color.

Yah, Guitar Hero! It was addicting for the longest time, until I got tired of all the songs and my hands would be liable to cramp quicker and quicker each play time. I can't wait for an extension disc with more, newer songs. :3
