Quick profile-portrait of my OC Surrun. I love profiles <3 I tried soft-shading for once and I like it but I think a more "organic" lineart would've looked even better with this style, oh well. And I still have a long way to go for a more realistic lighting.I've reworked the design again: He has no beard anymore, a prettier face and I gave him fabulous Aizen-hair.
I'm not too sure about his outfit yet, hmmm.
Some info about him:
Surrun is born and raised in Republic City, 30 years old and the oldest son of Hakkum and Haroma. He's also the young capo of my Whaletail-Triad (Hakkum is the godfather) and a waterbender. Surrun taught my main-OC Demetri waterbending. He's very mature and fatherly but also a bit of a coward and likes to surround himself with bodyguards.
He is definitely Haroma's favourite and she shows that openly. Hakkum loves all his sons equally but Surrun is the one who has to suffer from his "stories of the past" the most (Hakkum is a blabbermouth and often embarasses Surrun unintentionally).

Frowns are just so cute. Like the guy I ever liked frowned alot. I used to ask him "Please smile for me!" He'd respond, "I am. It's an upside down smile." I was all "Don't sass me with your wit boy!" XD

Best 5 seconds in animation ever. That guy is named after the crazy and overpowered King of Omashu, the only living childhood-friend of Aang, he's the son of Aang and Katara, a freaking commander for the united forces and described as "wild" by both Katara and Iroh II and the airbender kids are super-happy to see him while the tense Tenzin knows this means trouble. On top of that he is a little fat and wears pink earmuffs! Everything about that guy is win, pure win!
I don't think it's Sokka. If that was the case Lin wasn't just "Toph's daughter" but "Toph's and Sokka's daughter", he was a councilman and not a nobody.
I like the idea of The Duke being her father ^^ maybe she got her sense of justice from a freedom fighter? XD Toph and The Duke had very cute interactions in the show, although Toph obviously had a crush on Sokka and later Zuko.

Back in school I had a classmate who had this hairstyle naturally. His hairline was way back, it lookes really weird... and the hair he had was also very long. If I was him I would've shaved it all off but he was a bit special anyway, a genius in literature, an actor in the theatre, living on his own at age 16... I never knew people shipped it. I came across "Strings" when it was in chapter 2 and not really known as much. By chapter 3 it sky rocketed and became so popular. I can see why. By chapter 1 as twisted as it was, I started to ship it so hard. The writer is so brilliant. She covered their personalities so amazingly well, the atmosphere and tone of the story was something beyond wonderful. It gives you chills, hard and deep feels, and you are torn between feeling korrlok feels and korra has to escape feels. It truly is one of the best fanfic I read in a long time. Oh here it is on fanfic.net [link] I'm warning you...you will be at war with yourself and cry with all the new deep feels you get. We so gotta fan girl after you read it. It's still on going and chapter 8 is coming out this week. I will go down with this ship too. XD

Nah not really. He was very distant and hard to talk to, you always had the feeling he felt above everyone else. I wonder what he / everyone else does... I only have contact to my old group it's a shame. Last year we had class-meeting but some genius decided to make it on a monday, in the middle of the semester. Genius idea, especially when most people life in diffrent towns, study and/or work, I couldn't go there (4 hours travel to my hometown!) but I wanted so bad X_X whatever...
