Designed and crafted by me! Covered glass pearls using my original design, green and blue Swarovski crystals and seed beads.This design is popular and I've done several colors.

Interesting that you ask because I'm contemplating a tutorial on this.
The beads are actually sewn around a large glass pearl. 
My first took around 3-4 hours to design but after that it's like an hour or less to make them now.

My local Wal-mart has a nice bead section. Walmart Doesn't have 'these', lol. But they have the plain white, large glass pearls. The rest is all me.
I hand sewed the crystals and seed beads around the big white pearl.

I get 80% of my crystals from Fusionbeads.com but I have bought some from Ebay also.

Yeah, originality is something I really appreciate because anyone could copy a pattern to make a pretty piece of jewelry, but it requires so much more to contrive a unique piece of art.
That's a philosophy I stand by with my own jewelry as well!

Oh yes! I don't copy others' work either. I will do stitches or techniques though in beadweaving or chainmaille.
This bead took like 3 hours to design the first time and afterwards, around 30 minutes for the other ones once the pattern was figured out.
It's pretty in most any color.

That's the best part..... once you create something for the first time it takes far less time to recreate it!

Thank you! It took like... 4 hours to come up with the design but after that it's easy and fast to work up! The hardest part was measuring the middle band of crystals lol.
Remember early on when I said I lacked the creativity to come up with ideas? I think this adventure has broken that barrier. I'm always jotting down ideas in a notebook now!
