Some practice from last weekend, just did some quick last-touches now in a spare moment. ^^~Darkhuaza517 gave me the idea for this one, to have Frogadier surfing on Wartortle's back.
Thanks Darkhuaza517!I've always wanted to try a wave picture ever since I saw the amazing piece by *shilin [ link ] when I was in high school, so I'm sure I was influenced by her painting, as it is very inspiring to me. ^^ I also follow a some blogs on tumblr that post cool wave pictures, so I was influenced by those, too. Though my results are lackluster! I will need to try again in the future.
Guess I should link the other ones in this Gen I + Gen VI "Friends" series so far. ^^

Thanks for your kind words, I definitely want to do the final evolutions for all three paintings! I haven't had a chance to get around to doing them yet, but they're definitely projects I want to do sometime.

I was saying to someone else, I'm really happy you suggested it! I've always wanted to try drawing water, but was too afraid to. But since you mentioned it, I gave it a try, and it was such good practice. ^^ Hope to do more practice of it in the future.Β

Are you drawing the Kanto Starters in their Mega Evolution states? That kinda ties in with Gen VI. I'd like to see that, since I know you can pull it off. ^^
