Made in GIMP, which was a challenge this time. I was happy to get a stable version running on my new MacPro, but handling kind of changed it seems. I was constantly struggling with brush settings (seemingly) randomly resetting or changing, or dialogues getting locked, so I had to reopen the program to fix it again and again. I still have no clue why the locking happens, but the resetting brushes are obviously a "feature". Turns out GIMP saves tool settings per "type" of pointer you use, so one for the mouse, one for the pen away from the tablet, and one for the pen close to the tablet. So as soon as you move the mouse, it switches back to the "mouse pointer tool settings".It's probably the most annoying "feature" I ever came across, and I do hope I find a way to deactivate this.

There is also a setting that sets all the brushes to the same settings you have to uncheck them all.

Have you tried krita, has got quite a few advanced features for digital painting one of which really gets me excited and that is Scene linear painting what used to be referred to as HDR Painting, its the only app that does it I believe, unless photoshop has a button somewhere that enables it that no one knows about, but anyways nice image, I really want to be able to paint backgrounds this good sometime in the future

Thank you, and yes, I have tried Krita a single time. Still preferred GIMP though, but I guess it's mainly because I'm so very much used to it. But now with these new "features" it's well possible that I will give Krita another chance and spend some more time trying to get a hang of it. Let's see how it goes.
