Usually I'm more lazy than anything, and therefore hardly ever bother to draw/ paint backgrounds. But I realized it inevitably has to get really boring some time... and that's how I started this piece. Now I'm really happy I challenged myself to do and finish it.There are tons of things I could have done better, but that's always the case, right?
Anyway, the dog is something like my Fursona. She's a German Shepherd/ Husky-crossbreed.
The rocks and plants are painted from a photo I took, the rest is either loosely referenced or painted from imagination.
