Description
This is my Yasuo costume from League Of Legeds. Photo is taken in Chile during AFLA convention December 2014! The costume choice was brilliant because the weather was too hot for anything else.

I made the armor parts out of Worbla and EVA foam. Painting is done with acryclic paints + dark ink wash. Patterns on the scarf and pants are free hand painted with fabric colors. All the leather straps and leather parts are real leather. Wig is a human hair full lace wig glued on my scalp, helped me a lot with the final styling and ponytail! I cut and styled the front of the wig to follow my hairline (even though I don't have one, I'm bald, haha).

I had some last minute problems with the ponytail, it didn't stay up anymore, it's 50cm long and has to stay up all the time. Even though it's just hair and hairspray it's quite heavy... I was very worried... BUT then I saw a DREAM of a SPOON! xD So when I wake up on the con morning I stole a spoon from the breakfast table (I'm sorry!)! I bend the spoon 90 degrees and used it as a supporting structure inside the ponytail! And it worked like a dream, lol! 8)
