Description My net, along with my TV, was down for most parts of the day, making me a very unhappy kitty! I have so much stuff I need to do online! ;__; Still, it did give me plenty of time to doodle and write though, which is always fun!

So, to celebrate my net coming back (for good, hopefully this time!), have some Queen Selenity. Haven't drawn her in a while, shame one me! And yeah, the top left one is me pretending to draw Naoko style! It'd might have worked better with some good references, though! Oh well! Also, urgh, I want a new scanner!

Daaaaw, thank you! I like working with pencil, but I always get frustrated with my stupid scanner (who doesn't enjoy scanning anything properly), and not to mention my tendency to always smudge the art by mistake!

Draw with a tissue under your hand. Smudging with decrease by a lot. My art teacher told me that. I get frustrated with my scanner too because it does what I would consider "to good" a job and picks up every nook and cranny in the paper. I see a clean white sheet of paper with my eyes and if I scan it, I can see every gray recycled fiber. I've learned to deal with it through levels on Photoshop.

Actually, I do! Although you wouldn't believe it when you see the result! I guess I start slipping when I get really focused, or I have awesome smudging powers or something!

Ah, that brocade corset, so beautiful! I also loooooove her sleeves, all parts of them! And the collar of her blouse is neat too :3 That's a pretty decent attempt at Naokostyle too

I ain't exaggerating, you. I'm fine. Just been busy with work and life in general, made it impossible to find time to draw. However, my resolution for my 27th year of life is 'set aside time each day to draw something, or work on the image I started earlier'. There's a few things on my dA that're new, but nothing too special...not yet.

Sounds like a good resolution! I've tried to do the same, but then life comes around and kicks me in the butt by piling stuff on me! I then changed it to 'draw a little whenever I have the time', so it's usually limited to the weekends!

Eli, if I did what I wanted all the time, I'd never wake up. XD All I ever want to do is sleep on my days off. Still, paying the bills beats not having money to do what I want. (Figures. It costs money to sleep. XD)

And yeah, the fact that you need money to pay for a place to put the bed you can't sleep in because you have to make money, it's a shame! I'd personally would spend all my time playing computer games until I collapsed on the couch, but sleeping is definitely a worthy activity!
