It’s…“something” I guess 😅.

This submission is based off of a random thought of mine that I had been pondering about for a while; nocturnal Inklings. (And perhaps Octolings, as well, haha.)

“But exactly what are nocturnal Inklings/Octolings? What are their distinct characteristics?”

As the name implies, these particular Inklings/Octolings are known to thrive in more nocturnal environments, hence the illuminated spots on the hair, as well as the illuminated eyes. These nocturnal species also bare seaweed on their heads (the exact same one you see on elite rival octolings). The seaweed alone is another characteristic that is known to this particular nocturnal species, as seaweed in general is usually found at the bottom of the ocean (which is typically dark-ish depending on the environment.)
