Wow that's a nice overall picture, seriously. Though the Scroll, what exactly does it mean. I know the marks are meant to mean a special talent but what exactly does yours mean?

Huh that's pretty cool. Your art is pretty cool to. Did you do the designs yourself or request them? Mainly asking cause I like the whole making your own characters thing, both Pony form and Human and wondering how you go about doing that.

No problem. I enjoy creating characters myself, designing their appearances, personalities, back stories and everything. Unfortunately I can't draw and don't know anything about digital art. I'd like to learn about it if given the chance and helping people with their work in any way I can.
So what exactly or how exactly do you make the designs If I may so inquire?

In all honesty, I just let them come to me. In the case of my ponysona, I based that on the hairstyle I had at the time which became my mane, and my wish for longer hair which became my tail. For the human form, I just saw a really great purple dress in a store one day and bought it. Based the rest around that. It's just different things that inspire me around me, and then I just put pencil to paper.

So you actually draw them by hand? Cause if that's the case I might be a little screwed, I can't draw a straight line much less actual pictures.
I have a single OC character on my profile named Coalstone who I used the Pony maker thing for and even got a little artwork of done, both human and pony. I did however, come up with his personality and backstory, basing a bit of it around my own personal experiences.
Appreciate it if maybe you'd check it out sometime and leave a comment or two if possible.

Well, to be fair, I print bases to help myself out with basic structure, then do the colors on the computer. But I'll check your stuff out sometime, sure.

Huh, that does make a little more sense I guess. I always figured the pictures like the humanized pony pictures were digital arts or made using vectors or flash, or something completely computer based. Didn't know you had to actually draw some of it.

That's cool. Hoping myself I can get more involved in the art myself at somepoint, maybe helping others out with their projects in someway. But all I'm good at right now is coming up with characters and storylines, along with dialogue. Drawing is still my weakpoint and it's annoying to say the least.

Though if you're busy or don't want to that's fine. I don't want to come across as pushy or annoying. I just don't get a lot of people who actually talk about or comment on my characters and it's pretty cool to actually have someone whose willing to talk about it. Even if only for a few minutes.

In all honesty, I like the idea of him being so awkward and quiet that he seems intimidating, though it does come across a little awkward that he felt his works were the only ones that understood him, then he wants to make other friends later. If he felt that way, it may be more believable that he doesn't care about making other friends, especially since he already only interacts with other ponies when necessary and little more. If you're going to say he wants to make friends with others, there should be a reason visible besides loneliness since he's been stated to be fine with just the stone.

Well there is actually while he did originally find comfort in talking with his Statues overtime he began to wish that his statues could actually talk with him or hold a conversation with them.
As he interacted with other ponies, originally he kept the conversations short but slowly began to realize how much he enjoyed being able to talk with someone who could talk back and communicate with him. This slowly made him want to make friends since he knew that his statues could never talk with him.
Does that make sense?

Hey don't apologize, I actually included it in the original picture of the my character which is on my profile. The one you saw, I assume the other bio might have been a little shorter.
But yeah I based the character on my own experiences, I didn't have a lot of friends growing up and spent most of my time watching tv since it was something I could do on my own. However, it only works for so long before you genuinely want to make friends because you realize how much more fun it is to share your interests and the like with other people as opposed to just by yourself.
That's what I was going for when I made this character.
