OMG I got that poster from you in my room!!! I can't believe I finally found you I had your name noted when I bought it at Japan Impact but I lost it! T.T This is my highlight of the day.
I've spent hours looking at how the horn of the deer go up and turn red - like the deer is in autumn too, like the forest. There is something menacing yet appealing about it, almost like those spirits that haunt the woods in children's stories. It seems stopped as to listen for something - is it hunting season? - before walking away majestically. Overall, the painting is a little dark, but it makes the lighter touches stand out - his red eye in particular. I always imagine that it's a being haunting the old part of the forest, the one humans rarely come too and where mistery still dwell...

I didn't think of Xerneas when I first saw it but I guess it does look a bit like a Xerneas-Yveltal hybrid.
