Description I keep myself closed like Pandora's box,
Like I'm afraid the evils will get free.
And under piles of chains and heavy locks
Lie love and hate I've crushed inside of me.

When anger bubbles up from violent depths,
My face shows not an inkling of the change.
And neither sob is heard, nor tear is wept
when sadness drifts in on it's lonely wave.

But now and then, like sunlight through a cloud,
Emotions may slip through a tiny crack.
And minimally raising up the shroud,
A little more is lifted off my back.

It takes some time for scars to truly heal,
But someday I will show you how I feel.

Hey, I was just going through your stuff, and I wanted to say I absolutely love this poem. I especially like these lines: "But now and then, like sunlight through a cloud,
Emotions may slip through a tiny crack." It's beautiful.
