Manip:

About this deviation:

Made this for someone I met over the internet. To be precise Lone (nickname) from Norway. We've never met, but in the short space of time we've been chatting he's meant so much to me. This is just to say thank you. Thank you for listening. Thank you for talking. Thank you for just being you. Thank you.
I hope you get that horse one day; and that you find purpose in life beyond the boring world of school. I hope you find that your dreams are maybe not that unreachable =3

The meaning of this piece is personal, but I shall try to explain all the elements. The horse represents Lone, the heart pendant it's carrying represents his kind heart, his compassion, his understanding. The way the horse is 'colouring' the world is the way Lone made me think about my life, made me see it's not as bleak as I sometimes make it out to be. Thanks again for that ♥. And did I mention the background is a picture taken in Norway? Oh yes. I'm that smart xP. The lyrics are from Pink Floyd's Shine on you crazy diamond (duh xD). It's something Lone quoted at me and it meant so much. Thanks again ♥.
I absolutely love this to pieces. It's so... personal. If you steal this. I will eat you for breakfast. With mayonnaise.

I am completely falling in love with this manip. I love the choices of the horse, background, and gem. The blue gem against the black horse is stunning. I just love the riverside background for this piece. Very well chosen. Also, the pose of the horse goes very well with the rest of this manip. The tail billowing in the back of the horse is also very creative looking to me. I love to see artists go full out and almost spill their emotions and thoughts into their work, which is what I feel you have done in this miraculous piece. Very well done e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>

Great manipulation. The only point I don't like is the color of the grass.

Lol. It was pretty much that colour originally and you know. After like... thirty layers of just filters you get sick of editing xD

When I look at the original background, I see totally different colors. Your grass looks so dead.

I intensified the blues, hence the greens/yellows went down. It's one or the other. And I like it subtle. If I made it greener it would pop like neon.
But that's preference I guess.
