A Badge is what defines the line between your average machine, and a Module. They define a Module's class, as every machine specializes in a particular area of duties. But perhaps most importantly, a badge is a Module's link to the network and mainframe.

Oath of the Module: 'There is nothing I wouldn't do. Divide and rule, god from the machine.'

Offense Module
Enforcing rules and mediating troublesome situations is an Offense Module's primary duties, however their specialties lie in hunting down and erasing dangerous viruses.
Known Modules: Sigma, Gamma

Support Module
A broad role meant to cover an even broader number of duties. Depending on a Support's developed abilities and upgrades, their duties vary greatly, and are often used to aid other Modules in any number of ways.
Known Modules: Phi, Upsilon

Defense Module
Sometimes considered covert due to the sensitive information involved, Defense Modules have a keen eye for detail and critical thinking skills that play a crucial role in preventing disaster.
Known Modules: Alpha, Kappa
