This is absolutely breath-taking, I love the contrast, and it just seems to pull you in. The light reminds me of a day that's fading, with the last of the sun's light resonating throughout the land, beaming out hope and warmth with all its might, and with the leaves twisting with the whirlwind, it reminds me a little of fall or autumn. The time when the world is preparing to sleep and the last rays of warm, vibrant sunlight shines before winter closes in, and the world quiets and becomes mute. Then the contrast kicks in, with the darkness closing bringing a chaos that leaves one in awe, fear, and exultation. The strike of lightning is electrifying and luminescent, contrasting with the incandescence of the opposing side. Then, there's the house, which is between both sides, just there, watching, quietly, almost like its waiting. I can almost imagine myself as that house, bathing in golden light, and then as the shadows creep in, resilient, waiting for the storm to pass but enjoying its roaring and wild beauty. It also bears a striking resemblance to my life right now, and how it was before, and as I can imagine, how it'll be in the future. A balance between the two is necessary though, and I am glad I can enjoy the beauty and pain of both. I'm not sure if all this was your intention, but this is what I feel, and I love it.
