And how could I not include the magic ones! Characters like Etrigan, Zatanna and Doctor Fate are what make the DC Universe what it is.

Dang, never saw your comment! Sorry! If you want my opinion: On the film side, yeah, for sure. And it's a damn shame, now that Marvel is highlighting the correct road so nicely. But even Zack Snyder said it, those are entertainment icons we're talking about, even the less known ones. That statement he used wrong (trying to convince us his movies have any meaning), but the words used I find true, even if they don't mean what he thinks. The DC characters have endured decades now, and no matter what they do with them (or don't do!), the purity in their concepts will still be there to rediscover once those now in charge are done with them
