FULLVIEW PLEASE!
Gah, you don't want to know how long this took me and I'm still not all that happy with it. I got the proportions of the head wrong but as I was drawing it straight from a reference photo and not tracing it or putting the ref behind the lineart to check that it looked ok like I normally do, I suppose it isn't too bad. (but OMG, why is his mouth so insanely difficult to draw?! ¬¬)

When it was announced that Matt Smith would be taking over as the Doctor, there was mass outrage amongst the Tennant fans. Surely no one could top David Tennant's performance? Although I was gutted when he left, I'd seen Matt in other programmes and knew that he'd make a very good Doctor, so when the current series began, I was quietly confident. When the credits rolled on 'The Big Bang' I literally had a broad grin plastered over my face, I was that happy with how it ended and couldn't wait to watch it all over again. To me Matt Smith IS the Doctor and in all honesty, as much as I love Ten, (and I really do!) Eleven has now become my favourite Doctor. He's just so wonderfully geeky.
The Doctor, Doctor Who etc (C) to the BBC and Matt Smith (C) to himself, obviously.

Well done, this looks great! His eyes are just spot on.
Mouths are easily the hardest part of a person to draw though, i have to agree on that one!

Yeah, the eyes are the bit I'm most proud of - if you cover up the lower part of his face I think it looks most like him. XD

Actually, ya know the proportions DO look wrong, but it kind of looks like an intentional style. I think it looks cool. I'd rather look at something a little different anyway, whats the point in doing a picture that looks the same as real life, you can just look at a photo y'know?

Thanks! I did use a reference photo and even laid it under the lineart layer to check I'd got it right but it STILL didn't look right so I just gave up and went with it. XD As long as its recognisably him, I'm happy.

He is tough to draw, you have done well with the shading and skin tones.
