Was this inspired by the French movie Dante 01, by any chance? Not a masterpiece, but they did have a very cool-looking orbital prison in the form of a cross...

This is stunning! One quick question: is this all digitally painted or did you use a software/manipulate pictures?

Hi 
For this artwork, I used 3dsmax to create the big structure + fragments explosion. After that I did the composition in PS, so there is a mix between 3D and digital painting for some areas

Just wanted to let you know this has been ripped and used in an album release. The guy responsible for the work goes by the name "Beau Sinister". A bunch of artists already ripped him a new one on his Facebook page which he has since deleted.
