Is not really finished, but I wont anyways... Today I really really wanted to draw... cause I did this and another one when I got out from school.. that I will post into scraps cause is really not that much.

And I dont want to say it, but I know.. there's a lot of body for that little head. -_-

Mr. Tumnus from the Chronicles of Narnia

-Mechanical Pencil (is all I had when I did this) 0.7 mm
-Pencil's eraser and Lion (oh god, what a mess... specially the pencil's eraser.. it didnt clean, just mess things out even more! ... oh well, i got around it anyways)

You have great skills! The shading is very well done, and the anatomy is very realistic. I love the hand holding the parcels, especially. You've also captured the texture of the scarf, and all of that fur! love it.

I think all the proportions of this are accurate, at least to my eye.

I love the most recent Narnia's version of Mr. Tumnus--he was exactly how I pictured him to be when I first read the books. Good pencil work!

Excellent, and I like it the way the heavily detailed face and armful of reading material fade into sketchier but still accurate body. I don't think his head's too small, he just has adult proportions and looks very good!

thanks! ^.^ When I 'finished' this I thought of those pieces of art that are like that, the man part drawn with a lot of detail and then it fades away in lines or something sketchier... I thought it could be like on of those pieces, even if it wasnt intended. But thinking it now, a complete drawing, in this piece, would look.. boring, like is the same thing again, I dunno, something like that. And tnx for the compliments! ^^

It looks very magical when the resolution of an artwork changes to become sketchier and sketchier. It's as if he's coming forward out of the paper, becoming real as you glance at him. Wonderful effect -- and it would look far more ordinary if you developed everything to the detail of his face. It'd change the composition too and demand an equally developed background to look good -- and would not have that magical air.
