Description
I decided that I wasn't going to paint anything else until I finished this. I was so close to being finished and I just kept putting it aside. Well, I finally finished it. These are more characters that I created. Ivy, the mother, in fact is the first one I ever came up with a couple years ago. She is the queen of the tree elves. She is with the captain of her army and significant other, Ru. And he is holding their son, Luca. He just returned from war to discover that he had a son. He was quite pleased.Watercolor, wc pencil and colored pencil. Detail view here

This is such a cute one. The father kissing the child with the realistic pout on the lips, the proud mother, with full breasts and still slightly visible tummy, really lovely. And of course the amount of details is dizzying - first of all the gorgeously soft clothes, your ability to draw fabrics never ceases to amaze me. And then the hair, especially hers, sooo natural and softly falling, makes me melt with adoration (however silly that may sound, lol). The floor is absolutely great, too, clean and shiny.
The railing made my jaw drop and the leaves, both on the columns and behind the windows... wow.

Ph, the sheen on that tiled floor.. todie for. Great job with the watercolors, the use of green is just amazing (hey it is my favorite color so therefor, must praise its use everywhere ^^) All three figures are very lifelike, Like I was just glancing into their window...Gorgeous work
