It's been a while since I've logged on and I've been forward to seeing your work.
It always amazes me how well you use your colors.
Definitely adding this one to my collection.

It's so obvious that you spend so much time on these~~. The flow is so nice, the colors melting together. Almost like memories.

you too! seriously though, this is art. I love encouraging others to do well, particularly when there's talent. I am of the lucky and unlucky position that all my talents focus on one thing: teaching. But I admire anyone who has talent for the arts.

You're sweet :')
And literature isn't art? You write so well :3
And being able to teach is a big gift in my opinion

Cimorine90 In reply to Elyndelou [2013-01-28 02:15:50 +0000 UTC]

why thank you. I do consider writing an art, but I am not naturally talented in it. . . I couldn't do it as a living. But I could make a pretty good story. I got at least one in me. why, thank you so much! I believe teaching is a gift too, but I think it might be one of my few natural gifts. Still, I love teaching. thanks for all the compliments!

I think usually it's almost enough if you have just as much talent as you need for enjoying what you do. And I also believe that practicing do more than the natural talent. So, conclusion: if you do what you do now, and that's making you happy, it's already a success, and if you continue, it can lead to the "do as a living" part
(Oh, I don't know whether this makes sense or not.. )

lol, it makes total sense. I know it, it's just sometimes I try too hard tobe humble and more or less end up being silly about it all. I wish I was more organized. it amazes me how much I can get done in a day, and yet how much never gets done in a day. I should be writing every day!

every writer's problems. except Diana Wynne Jones, Brian Jacques, and Jane Yolen (lucky ducks).

I don't know about Brian Jacques or Jane Yolen, but I guess you're right about Diana Wynne Jones I loved the Castle trilogy, and now I've started to read an other series from her (the Chrestomanci series) and the Charmed life is one of the best children's book I've ever read And I was so lucky, I got two of her books for free on a site (it's a great thing, we give books to strangers for free, and we get books too. I love it! )

HOORAY!!!!!!!!!! well, if you don't know about those other two, you shortly will. I'm doing a mini-DWJ-tribute myself, going through all the short stories and books I haven't read of hers. I loved charmed life when I read it (or rather, listened to it) when I was younger, and I still love it! try the Daelmark quartet next, when you finish Chrestomanci. Just remember not to say his name aloud.

I can't wait for them (To be honest, I have a really long list, I have at least 80 books from my library I haven't read yet + on my PC the e-books..)
Ok, Daelmark after Chrestomanci, I'll remember Thanks for the tips!

you're so welcome, and sorry for loading ur reading list. I do that to myself. I suppose misery (or happiness, depending on how you look at our predicament) loves company.
