Description Trying this again >.> Since I'm apparently too rusty at a simple graphite drawing for my own good... Yah. I listen to critiques. Yah.... I dun always like them.... and then end up accepting them as a damned challenge. Anyway. I hope the results of said challenged attitude paid off.

Oh! I even forgot about it.
Looks like an illustration to Tolkien books lovely work, you have no idea how I like traditional b&w media.

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Thank you so much! I'm so glad that you like how this came out! I am so sorry that it took forever and a day
I really wanted her to look powerful but still feminine and have a VERY Elven look! So I'm glad that I pulled that off

That's stunning. I think that her right arm (our left) looks a little... wonky. I blame the large puff after her elbow. It makes it look as though her arm is bending very unnaturally.

Everything else is gorgeous though! I think that the background rune is especially beautiful.

No I definitely think you are right about the left arm. It was hard to figure out how to bend it, how far to bend, and how to illustrate that with the sleeve. Looks like I might have gone a tad overboard

I can COMPLETELY understand the difficulties with limbs and bending. It's so hard to figure out what looks natural (even if it truly isn't natural), and then folds in cloth and trying to portray everything correctly.

I think it's not a problem, it's just something I noticed. The only suggestion I could make is the "less is more" theory, and try to make the poof a tad smaller. That's all I can think of.

Again, it's still a beautiful piece of work.

The tones look very nice and the piece has a lovely balance. The face area and hair seems a bit lacking where her eyes almost look cross-eyed and it's not clear to the viewer where she's looking or supposed to be looking. My favorite detail work you did is the 3D look of the arch around her. Now that to me shows patience and dedication to the piece and draws the eye naturally and gracefully up and above her head. The detail work in the bow is characteristic of the detail you put into all the weapons you draw. I find a lot of wonderful things in this. Well done.

Thank you so much for the well laid out critique! I appreciate it! The arch I am particularly proud of, and have been doodling similar things since.
How goes the Contest piece?
