Poor Zabivaka - I, too, know how it sucks to wait months for something.

Oh, the twisted wiles of timeWhat sweet torment you teachAs you dangle wonders sublimeJust beyond my tantalus reach...Anyway! Well done on those poses, drawing characters that have their backs turned to you and still illustrating their expressions is no small feat. And look at it this way, Zabi: if time moved faster then the world cup will be over quicker

Haha, nice poem, dude And yes, thanks. I personally also think drawing characters from behind are generally trickier for several reasons, but I'm happy that things work out.And wise advice. Even sometimes one whole month can run away like a Concorde

I think rhymes build up in my body untill the pressure becomes too great to contain the impromptu poetry XPDefinitely! For one, you're faced with a very difficult angle for the face and I usually have no idea how the tufts of fur along the sides of the face behave at such angles and you have to rely more on body language to convey emotions effectively. I know, right? Just t'other day the thought occurred to me that 2018 is almost half over, and it feels like it only just began. And what have I even achieved these six months?!?

Your assessment on back-drawing is relateable, for sure. As for me, my other qualm about drawing from behind is that, being generally a clothes/costume enthusiast (much as I still suck at fashion design), I do find that too often the back of clothes tend to be less detailed, and thus often when I do draw characters from behind, the result to me feels kinda bland. And that's before factoring in about what you said about difficulty in conveying facial language from behind. And, yeah, I sometimes feel the same too about the last six months. Like, was yesterday January?

Not really a sports person, but it's a good drawing.
