i painted this a few weeks ago. Dunno why I didn't post it here.I think the colors are darker and less bright than in reality
but hey idk if anyone likes these cats i'd be willing to sell this painting cause I really really need money and nobody's commissioning me so yeah I'm selling this to someone within Europe

for the background i used a pretty common technique it's like you have a layer of wet paint like really wet and you sprinkle salt over it so it dries to look like that in the upper side of this painting... those kind of frost-like texture thingies C: other was just wet-on-wet technique so the colors blended smoothly, layer over layer so the colors would be darker and deeper 8D the last thing i did to this painting was sprinkle white paint with a paintbrush so it got those little white dots! And i think the head was pretty much the hardest thing i've ever painted.

omg really?! That sounds like a really awesome technique. I never would have thought of using salt for painting, but then again I've never tried watercolours D: Thank you, I'll be sure to remember this technique if ever I do watercolour paintings

ya you should try it out, though watercolors can be a pain in the ass sometimes >_<'' but the point is to not give up and keep painting until the thing is finished. I had so little motivation with this painting since I thought the head looked awful but then i thought that eh maybe it will look good after i've worked on the other parts of this painting? and it diiID!!
