Description Edit- changed the viewing size. It looks a little better this way.

My part of an ACEO trade with =Dragarta . This is =Dragarta 's dragoness character of the same name, who I must say is...SO FREAKIN' AWESOME. I thoroughly enjoyed drawing this wicked lady. Her character design is uber-cool! (Flaming mane and tail? Come on! You can't get much cooler!)

Anyway, this was done with a combination of Derwent Studio and Artist colored pencils and some other brand called 'Col-Erase.' They're erasable, as their name suggests.

Anyway, I am super proud of this. I think it came out really well in spite of me not being all that skilled in traditional media. The small size of the card probably helped.

Oh, yes. FYI, it looks ten times better in real life. I had to take a photo since scanning these things always messes 'em up. This is as close as I could get it to looking like the original. It's pretty accurate, but it's still not 100% right.

Wow, this is cool!
Expression looks evil and mischievous - in a good way!
Shadows and lights are working nicely here. As I have also drawn this character once must say that even tho those fiery mane and tail are super cool they are tricky to color - and you did great job with them.

Haha, it's mainly her flaming mane and tail that make me like her so much. And her colors. Red and black is the best color combo ever.
According to =Dragarta , she likes to keep to herself and is very smart, yet evil at the same time. Smart + evil = wicked combination, in my opinion.

I would do more colored work if it could all be ACEO. ACEOs are fun because they're such a small size, it doesn't seem like such a daunting task to draw and color one.
Just need to find more trading partners, or people willing to buy 'em off me. (Like that'll happen! )

I'm glad it doesn't look unnaturally cut off anywhere. I usually draw the whole thing (or most of the whole thing) on a separate sheet of paper and then transfer the "slice" of it that I want onto the ACEO card.
