Description This is part of a project I did for a youth retreat.  This is such a beautiful verse.  I could go on and on about what I think about this verse, but I'm curious what do you think?

This is so nice. Just believing in god and these pictures and our world, everything is so nice. This really sticks out to the Christians and the people who believe in god . I am so happy these exist. I just love those words for some odd reason... "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body I live by faith in the soon of God who loved me and gave himself for me." God and Earth is beautiful in many ways, and we sometimes may forget. Beautiful. I love it! This verse truly reveals a key point in being a Christian. I, myself, tend to look into the meaning of an artwork before I decide to talk about how it looks. The way that the words "CHRIST...IN ME.." are bigger than the rest of the words shows a strong implication of an important part of being who we are. Then, "LOVED" is capitalized too, and that reminds me of John 3:16. The impact strikes me and it's great.

Now, I don't know if it was intentional or not, but the way the wood is, reminds me of the cross. I also like how you didn't keep the exact same pattern in the pressed letters, but rather made it look a bit grated.

Wonderful, it is. To take a verse straight from the Bible and then illustrate it out beautifully gives you a 10/10.

I appreciate the feedback.  Thank you so much for taking the time.  You noticed the things that I was trying to communicate and that makes me glad.  I did not intend for the wood to symbolize anything.  I was surprised to see that you felt it represented the cross - and that is the beauty of art, different people have different interpretations.  Thank you again for the kind words and encouragement.

It looks beautiful. I personally might have not marked the same words, but that's only because I'm in a different mood right now (right now I think the "CRUCIFIED WITH" and "I NO LONGER LIVE" should bear a little more importance than it does, and the big "ME" a little less... It could be misinterpreted in the way our individualistic society makes everything look "it's all about me, me, me!" and/or "what God does for ME"). Still, either ignoring or misinterpreting words in the verse would be simply not understanding the full weight it has, and both the grace and responsibility it bears...

(Nonetheless, I do think the words marked DO bear one of its most significant messages. This is no complain xd)

I look at it and it kind of makes me feel like the words jump out of the wood. It's weird. Like being seasick XD. Anyhow, great work!

The words were laid out in Illustrator.  Then I used a Photoshop template for the wood effect.  It was really easy actually.

I would love to see a tutorial on how to do it. I have both Illustrator and Photoshop, so I could do it if I knew how.

Go to the link in my description to download the template.  It is free.  Do you know how to use "smart objects" in Photoshop?  Simply double click the smart object symbol in your layers palate and it will open up another file where you can edit your smart object artwork.  That is where Illustrator comes in.  Create whatever kind of vector art you want and copy and paste it into that additional file that Photoshop opened up.  When you save that file it will automatically update your original Photoshop document, it will automatically apply all the effects and everything. I'm sure you can google "Photoshop smart object tutorial" and find a tutorial if what I said does not make sense.  Smart objects are a great way (if set up correctly) to save time.

Will do! Thanks for the tip I haven't played with Photoshop as much as I've played with Illustrator because I'm currently taking an Illustrator class- Photoshop will come later. I'm sure I can figure it out though. Thanks again!
