Oldie but goodie (though I don't know why I gumbied her elbow like that). My dapper friend J. had a dream once about investigating a mystery mansion with a miniature shadow-emu companion.

I remember driving myself nuts trying to build up any color intensity here because I was mixing my washes too dilutely; in retrospect I realize I was glazing without meaning to. I actually don't know if I would have the patience to do that deliberately at any scale now, even though it made a pretty lighting glow on her clothes here.
