(really hard not to type that "Tommeh Shelbeh")

Freehand watercolor portrait of Cillian Murphy in Peaky Blinders, about 2.5 hours. I finally used some of my nicer watercolor paper, and holy smokes does it make a difference. Being able to lift paint cleanly is incredible.

I have a little collection of Peaky Blinders screencaps I've been planning to paint from, but I'm a bit flustered that none of them (this one included) are that dynamic. Deadly stillness is the name of the game when it comes to lovely Mr. Shelby... but I guess I need to find more fight scenes and arguments to screencap.

I really need to start doing watercolor studies that aren't just two colors...
