As a follow up: we have decided to keep him. If the owner hasn't made an effort to contact us by now, then obviously they don't care that much. We had my number in the classifieds and everything.

So we found a cat. He walks with a very strange head tilt. x) So we named him Zombie. He does have an owner, according to the animal shelter. However that owner has yet to be contacted so perhaps we'll get to keep him.
