well, this is one of the drawings i've been slaving away on for the last couple of weeks.
...
it took me a frigging long time. i drew the whole thing in blue pencil, so i didn't get to use the eraser to fix up any mistakes, so i had to grit my teeth and trust my luck.
i'd like to say i had a lot of fun doing this, and used up another couple of hours of life. i think i shaded and reshaded and coloured and recoloured the whole thing like three times till i was satisfied. haha.
sighhh...
oh yeah, you see that scribble on the pillow on the bottom left? i figured i should start signing my work.
oh, and the title. she's inspired by the song Lilli Rose by Kids in Glass House.

Very nice work on the shades and I like it that you chose blue pencil to do it. :3 Personally I think her eyes are a bit too wide -- I sometimes find it creepy if eyes on manga/anime-characters get too big. But otherwise a very cute pic. I especially love the plushies and her peaceful expression -- nose and mouth are beautiful (and in general, the eyes are, too).

This is a very nice piece. I like how there's more than one hue of blue which gives the picture its depth and keeps it interesting. The pose is natural too. Good job.

Such a pretty picture... Blue is my default favourite colour... the whole thing has a really calming atmosphere, and its shaded really nicely

yay! i'm glad you think so! i wasn't sure if it was so good to choose blue cause it doesn't scan very well, but then i figured i could use that to my advantage if i made a mistake.
