Description This piece is a character which would have appeared in my final year film ah well, the style was inspired by the work of brian froud and was drawn in black ink, the dress coloured in red ink and the rest coloured and edited in photoshop CS2.

Thank you very much, the ink used was just plain writing ink but it comes out really lovely on stained paper

Thank you the yellow and paper effect were a photoshop colour and a scaned sample of dyed paper, but the red was red ink

thank you, the red was a happy accident and the ink began to pool however this gave depths to the red when dried

Classically beautiful look, the deep scarlet of her ball gown contrasts with the spun gold mass of her hair, but it's the mask that really makes the picture for me. The whole feel of the piece reminds me of Neil Gaiman's Sandman for some reason. She seems like someone who'd meet and be swept away by Morpheus in her dreams...

Thank you, the inspiration came from Brian Froud's sketches for the masked ball scene in labyrinth the way in which he draws masks is fantastic and that scene in the film fitted in well with the themes of romance and day dreams.
