Yes... I just wanted to draw the evolution of some video game characters and decided to begin with Sly... since I drew him a lot he is the easiest.
Who should I do next? I'm hesitating between Rayman and Spyro the Dragon ...

Ooooh. I like. I like it a lot.
My favorite part of the trilogy was the expanding style. The first game, like you said, barely had any curves on the characters; by the time of Sly 2 and Sly 3, we got more detailed while still being simple.
Sly 4 on the other hand, while still on the simple side, is quite the jump on style. I mean, a different company is handling it, so that tends to, and is expected, to happen, so you know.
Now, I would love to be able to have the skills to replicate this style. Specifically Sly 2's. I like Sly 2's style. (I guess you can say Sly 3's also? It's more of a variant type... Eh, I'll count it.)

Eheh yup, Sly 2 and 3 are my favorite, for years I tried to replicate it. It's still part of my style, but I could deviate from that too with time.

You know, I just realized that his Thieves in Time design makes it look like he has a small beard on his chin.

I'm actually a big Sly Cooper Fan. I've played all of the games, and have for a long time. (This may sound a bit weird) Before I even joined this site I was looking for wallpaper for my PlayStation 3 and I found your art. It has been my wallpaper for years, this exact picture actually. And I just wanted to thank you for making this picture.
