I had a dream of Pitch; I was in his lair firing arrows at nothing, I was fuming at something and it didn't help that I didn't have the strength to properly fire them. Pitch was strolling around me on my right talking but I wasn't listening, suddenly he was on my left and I snapped and fired an arrow perfectly at him and it went straight through his forehead like he was a ghost. And he looked at me how he looked at Tooth when she charged at him in Tooth Palace, a gaze of pity. He looked at me like that and was like "Oh, sweetheart." Like I was a child and suddenly my anger morphed into tears. Even in my dream I wondered if he truly felt bad for me or if he was mocking me.Watercolour and his eyes change colour so many times in the film. Damn lighting.

I'd like to note that there is a LOT more to say about how much I love this. I was just in a hurry when I first came across it, but I just couldn't bear not commenting. A work of art like this requires at least SOMETHING. So I dashed out a quick comment.
Here's all the stuff I SHOULD have said: The realism is amazing. But even more so, the emotion in those eyes is breathtaking. And the colours...dear God, you did that with WATERCOLOURS? That's incredible. I just want to stare into those eyes all day...
Also, I envy the hell out of you for having that beautiful dream. It sounds so detailed, too! Maybe Pitch really visited you in your dreams. If so, Pitch, please come visit ME tonight!
I can't even look at this image too long, despite never wanting to look away. It's too much...it makes my heart ache. You deserve a bloody medal.

Thank you so much for your kind words. As much as his eyes change colour so often due to lighting, I did love painting them because of the gold/green/blue/silver and how they mixed, that and I wanted to capture his expression simply showing his eyes.
As strange as it was, I had watched the film that night and I had felt sad at the ending so when it finished and I was going to sleep, I said goodnight to Pitch out loud. Felt a bit silly but never mind, got a dream out of it lol.
