I've notice in a lot of your pieces that you really emphasize a character's eyes like in this picture.
Demyx's eyes are beautiful, but there's more. There's a sense of passion and tranquility in them, and that's what separates your art from others.

Those are probably the best fish I've ever seen. They beat real life fish by like, a million.
Also, I love the soft, yet vividly bright colors and the stark white highlighting. Really seems to fit him, as well as make the picture all prettyful.

I have to say, this is one of the most beautiful pictures I've come across in a long, long time. Your style reminds me of one of my favorite artists- I can't for the life of me remember his name, unfortunately, but he did the most beautiful eyes and lips, along with a lot of detail and beautiful, contrasting color.
I adore the soft, watery colors you've used-perfectly complimenting the character, of course- with the huge, glassy eyes and the bright white highlights. It's beautiful in an almost creepy way-- his eyes could almost pass for a dead mans... he looks ancient and soulful and thoughtful, like a siren or a mermaid should. And his lips, oh Gods. I can't get enough of them, they're so lush and rich and colorful, he looks like he's been sucking on strawberries and cherries and the color has stained his lips red... I find myself inspired to draw again, something I haven't felt in a very long time. This should have been done in water color...it would be perfect for this composition.
He looks so soft and flowing-I love the way his skin seems to dissolve into his watery surroundings, and only the bright light defines his features...and his hair is perfect. I also love the white you've used on his eyelashes-it really makes them stand out, if it had been just thick and black, I think his eyes would have sunk too far back. The light lashes really make them sparkle.
If you're selling a print of this, perhaps I could buy one? The more I look at it, the more in love I fall, and I'd be more than willing to pay for a copy on my wall...

The pic reminds me of Desire from the Sandman series, even though the colour scheme and the fishes are so not suitable for that character. Maybe it's just that face or something.

I remember the oekaki place said about 530 min, but I wasn't on my comp for 6 or 7 hours. So I guess at most is about 2 hours.
