This guy and Komamura are gonna be the death of me I swear.

One of the most iconic characters in Bleach. This sketch was inspired by another picture of Mayuri here in DeviantArt that had his hair out but with his makeup still on and, well, last night I just got hit with the urge to draw him Pleasedon'tunwatchmeforthis

But...this guy....oh, man. To make a long story short, in the beginning I absolutely loathed Mayuri. I couldn't stand looking him or just hearing his voice. Like a lot of other people, I just wanted to him to be obliterated. But then...as time (and the manga) went on, I (reluctantly) admitted that he could be kind of comical when the situation called for it. Now, I actually kind of appreciate his character.

Of course, though, I don't condone his slaughter of all the innocents that he experimented on. No way. But, at the same time, he just...intrigues me on a level I can't explain. Please forgive me
