I absolutely love this picture of yours and I finally found it here on DA. Somehow this was saved to my computer from years ago and I just recently used it as a reference for a drawing of mine. I hope you don't mind, I had no idea where I had got the picture until I searched your name and found you here! I'm very sorry, and I gave your work credit. ^__^
After I found this I ended up reading the online version of Dragon Heir and it's amazing! I love Ella and Protus, I was sad when I couldn't read any further though.

awwws the emotion on the girlies face is so intense my heart goes out to her, i cant say i have read more than volume 1 of dragon heir so im not sure whats happening so far but it really seems so sad i wanna read it now, nice soft colours as well to go with the scene, in other words

Very much so, I can tell this implies something very serious is a-foot in DH, Ive read the first two volumes and really enjoyed them, any chance of them being released in the shop

I'm working on a book, but it's a while in the making....and sadly the original comics will always look a little dated.
however, if you've read 1 and 2 (thank yooo) issues 4, 5 and 6 are in the shop! They get a lot better - honest! hehe.

Cool, I know its only natural to look back at old art and cringe, so dont worry, I took that into consideration^__^, anyway looking at the new pages therye amazing looking, really lovely streamlined look to them.

did you see dragon heir 6?? it's shiny! I'm so pleased to have a newer issue out. I've pencilled issue 7 too (and it all gets exciting in there!), but know i should do the book first. sob sob

I remember commenting when 6 came out ^-^ would love to see a dragon heir book though. I loved finally getting Laura's Biomecha volume, I'm sure a Dragon Heir one would be just as well received. I'd buy it, even though I'd most likely have the issues included (well except those as webcomics

Ahh, lovely and melancholy. Sorry, melancholy seems to be my favourite word atm @_@ But the point is, it's a lovely illustration for Dragon Heir. And I like the slightly grainy texture to the characters clothing - it makes them stand out from the background (Or is that just my dodgy screen? O.o).
What'd you use to colour it, photoshop?

Yay! ^^ Well it definitely adds that extra somethin' ... playing with art software filter buttons is so fun *_* I especially like combining digital tones with colour and seein' what happens!
