I've been doing some work with Spacedog in the US to help promote their Tokyopop title, eV.One of their promotional pivot points was a collaboration with J-pop duo, HalCali. I was lucky enough to be asked to create a promo image, featuring the girls and the eV character in hyper cute chibi styleee.
This wasn't the final design, as they ended up opting for Evie in her spacesuit, but I liked the three matching outfits in this one so thought I'd post this one up rather than the final. ^_^
This was used as the cover for a promotional CD single that was sold at NY comicon. I haven't actually seen one yet! hehe

I went through so many more realistic versions before the band decided that actually they wanted to be chibi, haha - but it was fun this way.

Thank you! Yeah- it's so exciting. I hope I never find this kind of thing normal...I want to keep feeling like a kid at Xmas! Apparently the CDs arrived at the offices in LA today - and one has been sent to me...I'll take a pic when it arrives! weee ^_^

Thanks! It was pretty tricky to get the girls to be slightly recognisable as well as being manga chibi charas....but out of all of the approaches, they seemed to like this one ^_^
