    I was the odd kid in school, it wasn't a bad odd but the 'everyone-is-in-love-with-me-literally' my name is demyx and I'm the most popular kid in high school, I got guys and girls lined up to be with me, but unfortunately, I'm taken or I have a huge crush on someone else.

    I was always hanging with someone, be it my older sister, little sister, friends, I was with someone all the time.

"Demyx, you need to get up lazy bone"

    I lived with my older sister since my parents kicked me out after they found out I was gay, I took my little sister with me so she could have a free life of our hypocritical parents, my mom only had me and danni, nelly was our half sister after my dad died of cancer, a short while after I was born.

   My sister worked at the hospital as a doctor since she wanted to live to save people, which like me, always felt the need to help anyone who had a tiny scratch on them, we've been token advantage of yet we were still nice to people, we always helped people no matter what it was.

"If you don't get up, I'll get the bucket of ice water and show you what cold really is!"

    My eyes snapped open at this and she smirked as I got up and got into my uniform for school and saw my little sister just sitting at the table looking happy as always "morning nelly, danni" they smiled at me and gave them a huge hug.

"How's school nelly?"

"Everyone's nice but they keep expecting me to act like demyx, they say I'm much shyer than you and should act like you more."

"Well, I'll change that, today I will take you to class and show how much fun you really are"

"Demyx, you don't have too, I'll be fine and I'll get friends who like me for who I am and not as your shadow"

"Still, if you need me to explain to them that they shouldn't pressure you, I can"

"Tell you both what, I'm subbing at the school, so I'll take you both to your classes, demyx I'm subbing your math class, and I will embarrass you"

   I gulped and nelly started to laugh "nelly I'm subbing your English class tomorrow, so I'll give you a good impression on everyone, today your third day after all" she smiled at nelly and I smiled at them "we better go or we'll be late" I nodded and got my books and started for Danni's sports car, it was a red or maroon color and it looked awesome.

    It was fun walking into the school, proud to say 'hey this is my sisters' I loved my sisters dearly so I tried my best to keep them safe, even though I'm younger than one of them.

   Everyone watched me and my sisters until we went over to my friends "hey dem, danni, and nelly right?" axel asked nicely and she nodded "yeah, I'm nelly, demyx's sister" they smiled at her and welcomed her to the group instantly "any friend or family of demy is our friend, unless that person hates us then no or we don't like them, but your fine, you look just like your mom" I smiled at marluxia as nelly had a huge smile on her face.

"DEMYX?!!"

"Hey sora"

"Guess what?"

"What?"

"…"

"Sora?!"

"I-I forgot, haha"

    Everyone busted out laughing and he smiled in embarrassment "who's this?" I stopped laughing and smiled "I forgot to introduce you two, sora this is my sister nelly, nelly this is sora" she smiled and they shook hands.

"Dem?"

"Yes danni?"

"Class. Now"

     I nodded and followed with nelly hanging on to my shirt like a lost puppy "what do you need danni?" "do any of them know about the real you?" I looked at her confused and remembered the fangs "n-no" she shook her head "you need to let at least your close friends know about it, nelly can you step out of the room for a while and block the window as well" it was more of a statement then a question and she nodded.

"You need blood?"

     I nodded and showed me fresh skin on the wrist "are you sure?" she nodded and I slowly bit down so I wouldn't hurt her to much "dem, that's enough" I nodded and let go so I could heal her, just to hear someone gasp and I looked up with blood all over my mouth and around my chin with my eyes blood shot red and my fangs out.

I turned to look at the person who caught me, at my true self, as a vampire.

   "DEMYX?!" I looked at nelly in relief and shock "nelly, I can explain" she shook her head and started to run away but bumped into zexion instead and I quickly wiped my face, trying not to cry, since I would cry blood.

    "What's wrong?" he asked as he held nelly and I shook my head in greif "she freaked out when she saw blood and went to get the nurse while crying" zexion nodded and helped her up as I got near she screamed for help and to stay away.

"Nelly?"

    She just cried and zexion stayed quiet "zexion can you leave us for a moment, please?" he nodded and left her slowly and she just backed up to the wall while I closed the door and danni had regret in her eyes and I smiled weakly at her.

"I should tell you what I am and explain"

"Yes you should"

   I looked at danni and she nodded slowly "she's your sister, at least you can do is explain it to her and let her get used to it" I nodded little tears went down my face.

"Where to start?" I started but she just looked terrified "you see, nelly demyx was attack when he was a child, by a vampire, the last pureblood and last vampire turned demyx to save his race from extinction and even though I tried to save him, demyx was still turned or he would die of blood lost, so I had to choose, let demyx die or let him live as a vampire."

    Nelly looked at me and smiled weakly "demyx, he has to drink blood or he'll die, so I had him swear to only drink my blood, the person who turned demyx is still alive, his name is Xigbar, he has black and white hair, long in a ponytail, an eye patch with a golden eye, when a vampire smells or taste's blood their eyes turn red like this, but he had let demyx stay with me, until the time came for demyx to be of use and had to stay with the other vampires until the battle was over" I looked down and felt her wrap her arms around me slowly.

"I'm sorry demyx"

   I smiled at her and hugged her tight and heard a knock on the door "hold on" danni said calmly and made sure we weren't crying with blood and went to answer the door, just to see axel, marluxia, and sora ready for class and me.

"Time for class, the room was locked and we heard crying and got worried about demyx and nelly" danni smiled at them "we're fine, nelly just overreacted over something silly, problem solved though and she's doing fine, thanks for worrying" they smiled and I got up to take nelly to class then get to my class when I was called to the office.

    "The principle will see you now" I nodded and entered the room to see a serious xemnas sitting in a rolling chair "you wanted to see me sir?" he looked up and gave a small smile "yes, demyx nocturne, you are going to tour a new teacher, they are from a different state so treat them nicely, and we have a job for you, that you will cause you to have a new schedule as well, that will start tomorrow so come to my office once school starts" I nodded and he gave my the papers.

   I waited in the office for the new teacher to come and after a while they finally entered the office, but he were different from the usual, or no, he was normal compared to this school "hi, you must be the new teacher I heard of" he looked at me and smiled slightly.

"I'm demyx nocturne, I'll be your tour guide for today" he nodded and I handed him his schedule "what's your name?" he looked at me and smirked "it's Xigbar" I smiled and nodded and we started for his classes.

   "I'm a senior so I'll be around the office a lot so if you need any questions, come find me or another teacher for help" he smiled and nodded "what subject are you teaching?" he looked at his paper and sighed "Culinary Arts" I smiled brightly and led him to my old history teachers classroom where a sub was teaching something.

    "Good, I have you for Culinary Arts, we've had Mrs. Garvin for too long, she doesn't like my class, before we went for winter break she actually said she hoped we would die" he looked at me shocked then chuckled "most likely stress, she might not mean it like that" I shook my head and smiled "it doesn't matter, she's the worst teacher in the world, she lectures everyone, it gets annoying" he nodded and I opened the door.

"Mrs. Garvin, this is the new Culinary Arts teacher, Xigbar" she nodded and started to get her stuff to leave.

"What are you guys learning today?"

"How to make pizza's"

"Really?"

"Yes that's why I'm helping you today, my friend Emily will be cooking it today, I'll go get her, she's a genius at cooking pizza from scratch."
