Description I really want to start doing Semi realism stuff, so I've made this OC to practice just that(Any paintings I do will most likely feature this hottie). I haven't named him just yet, but I will. I'd really LOVE some critiquing here, because I'd really like to know exactly what I need to work on. So please feel free to speak your thoughts below.

Love the hair and your choice of colors. o wob I'm not good at writing critiques nor do I think I'm qualified, so I'll skip that. xD;; I can make a suggestion though~ The color you used for the nostrils would also help you to define the collar bones and lines toward the armpits more.

Oooooh! You're right. O.O This is the first time I haven't used my lineart, so I got a little discouraged about the defined lines. I'll remember that, thank you so much!

xD You're very welcome~! I often have trouble with the same thing and end up having to go back and keep defining and defining. haha Ah...I forgot to mention the point where there's room for the most improvement (in my eyes). You're really good at faces and hair~ I'd say those are your strongest points. The chest is probably the weakest point in this picture. o .oa The shape throws me off a bit and it's unusually sharp. Somewhat softer shading could help but too soft could work against you. GOOD LUCK! I'll be watching for more pics of that hottie~~!

I can agree with that! The chest was funky, and I should have taken more time with it. Anatomy is my downfall with male characters. X3 They're just so different from female bodies. I'm going to watch for your stuff as well and see what fabulous art you come up with. Thanks again~

XD Hahaha You're the opposite of me~ I'm more comfortable with drawing males. ow o...but I agree they aren't easy...especially with my always changing style;; haha
