I'll admit- I was a hardcore Makorra fan at some point. When I first saw Mako, I thought he was a Zuko wannabe, so, naturally, I loved him. I kinda disliked Korra's immediate affections towards him- and Bolin's towards her- and Mako's towards Asami- I just overall hated the love triangles. The Last Airbender avoided all this love stuff until the end of the entire series- which this series did not. So, I'm iffy on Makorra. I feel it was rushed, but I'll play it off.I love Eska and Bolin though. <3
