'Ironwood is a strange character in the Rwbyverse, many thought he was a villain all the way until the Fall of beacon and even then people still questioned him. Although his short time throughout Volume 4 as of Episode 6, has seemingly proven to most that he always has the best intentions at heart, just through his own means, many of which seem foolish to the likes of Qrow and others. But those good intentions but question means, is very reminiscent of Atlas & its citizens in general... look a Weiss and Winter for example, initial Cold exteriors and mean actions, but good people and intentions at heart.
