Description Second version. Anatomical mistakes corrected (Feathers covering second digit and so on), this argentinian wonder is probably one of the most evolved maniraptorans, closer to aves than to dinosauria (It's still a dinosaur, but the hips, for example, are deffinitely a prelude to the not so far future).

He could use a bit more arm feathers, in my opinion, but still a wonderful drawing, you do realize, however, that Buitreraptor didn't evolve into birds, it could've been the other way around though. You did a fantastic job with the feathers!

Good job on those feathers, nice that you managed to keep the form of the dino even though it is thoroughly covered in most places.

It doesn't look like it has hands. And by the way you should buy Photoshop or 3ds max to make a really good dinosaur. =3

The hands are behind the feathers. I have photoshop. That's how I clean them. Magic brush low tolerance, and poof!

Yeah, he's very skinny. I don't usually draw dinos like these due to the pain in the ass that is doing the feathers.

I think feathers are fun to do, and soon I'm sure I'll upload some pictures of feathered theropods...
My problem is that between Uni/Work/and Life I end up having less time dedicated to my paleo art than I would like but what can you do?...
Great sketch by the way!
