This is number 39 in the "SSU Bios" series, showcasing the many races seen in the "Sleepy Stories" comics by myself and *NayzorBunyip - Bunyips are an aquatic race who live throughout Oceania. They wear bikinis made of shells and seaweed, have long black hair and navy blue scales all over their bodies. Bunyips are a laidback racewho hang out near water, both fresh and salt. They are fountains of knowledge who love to help out travelers. Bunyips spend most of their time sleeping and napping, and snore very loudly. The snores of pregnant bunyips always signal the beginning of Dream Time.

One time I had sex with a bunyip named Selrina. I did it by transforming into a blue sharkman and I casually flippered by a group of sunbathing bunyips. Selrina looked and noticed my sexy shark tail swaging around, and I'm sure you can guess what went on for the next 28 hours on a rock, in a coral bed, and right on the sunny beach in front of many bystanders. (I got her pregnant)!!!

From what I understand, reports of what bunyips really look like differ. They've been said to look like birds, dogs and monkeys.

Time: 2:23 am(Local standard time)
Nobisuke and Suneki are searching for Jaichibi, who is missing at the moment. The boys are in a large pregnant sleeping spriggan (They don't know that it is one) looking at a bunyip sleeping on the shore of the swamp. The boys each have a boomerang for defense.
Nobisuke: Suneki, are we really up to this challange? I know its for Jaichibi, but this seems risky.
Suneki: Nobisuke, he's our best friend. That bunyip probably caged him up!
Nobisuke: Pretty small for a bunyip. I don't think she could have over powered him. Besides, all of the other races we've met were very friendly!
Suneki: Yeah, but I'm still nervous.
Nobisuke: Me too. This place is creepy at night. I'm worried about Jaichibi.
[Nobisuke climbs down onto the huge belly of the pregnant spriggan and sits down]
Nobisuke: This tree feels weird.
Suneki: Yeah. Let's start climbing down and- wait, what's happening?
Nobisuke: The tree is moving!

[The pregnant spriggan wakes up and sees Nobisuke]
Spriggan: Oh hello! What are you doing on my belly?

Nobisuke: Suneki, I think this tree is talkin' to me.
Suneki: Well, we haven't been getting very much sleep, so-
[Both boys see the Spriggan]
Nobisuke(nervously): Please Mrs. Tree, don't use us a fertilizer.Suneki: We w-were just looking f-for our friend.

[She smiles and takes Suneki out of her leaves]
Spriggan: Don't worry, boys. We spriggans don't make fertilizer out of people! Maybe I can help you?

Nobisuke: We're trying to find our friend. We call him Jaichibi as his nickname, his real name is Yasasuki.
Jaichibi is easier to pronounce.
Suneki: He went missing an we're worried sick. We were going to see if that bunyip got him.

Spriggan: Well, I doubt that sleeping bunyip did your mate any harm.

Nobisuke: Have you seen him? He's about a few inches taller than me, a little heavy and is very easily frightened.
Suneki: As we search for him, please tell me, if the Australian aboriginals describe bunyips as monsters, why is that one friendly, if what you say is true....and I believe you ARE telling the truth?

Spriggan: Bunyips aren't dangerous creatures, they're just misunderstood. The abbos never bother to get to know the bunyips. It's a shame, really. Anyway, I don't think I've seen your mate Jaichibi.

Nobisuke: Would you PLEASE help us find him?
Suneki: We're worried sick! We went off towards Uluru (Once called ayres rock) looking for a snack, and idn't come back! Do you know anybody who could help us?
Nobisuke: Say, is that him, sleeping in that bush over there?
Suneki: It IS him! Jaichibi! Wake up!
Jaichibi: Oh! Guys! Where were you? I see you've met a new friendly race! I knew THESE creatures were friendly.

Spriggan: Call me Yukie, boys! [winks]

Suneki: Me neither!

Yukie: Well, us spriggans aren't quite as widely known as bunyips and the like.

Nobisuke: Jaichibi, where WERE you?!
Suneki: We were worried sick!
Jaichibi: I'm sorry fellas. I didn't mean to cause any worry. I went off, looking for a snack, when I heard this snoring. I went to check it out, and I saw a bunyip sleeping! I wasn't sleepy before I heard the snores, but when I heard them, I couldn't stay awake! I don't understand it!

Yukie: Well, a bunyip's snoring can really affect you. I know it makes me drowsy... [yawns]

Suneki: We're not getting sleepy. Why is that?

Yukie: I'm going to be a mum, boys. This is my little sapling, so to speak! [chuckles]

Suneki: Don't trees use fruit or seeds for that kinda thing?
Jaichibi: I'm confused.

Yukie: Our seeds make trees. But we grow baby spriggans inside us. [rubs her belly]

Jaichibi: That's odd. Aboriginals told us that they lay eggs.

Yukie: Well, the abbos don't have much to do with the bunyips, and vice versa. They don't have all their facts straight.

Suneki: Has anyone ever tried to cut you down?

Yukie: Oh no. If anyone tried that, I'd confront 'em. They wouldn't want to mess with a talking tree!

Suneki: Could you warp us to the south pacific islands? Our ship crashed and we found our friend.

Yukie: Sorry boys, I don't have that power.

Yukie: If you need to get to the South Pacific fast, you can have a cetea carry you there. That's a giant whale mermaid.
