Description
An art developed through extensive testing during the White Wars, tailless aircraft design finally matured before the Red Wars in Estreland, and today is a mark distinguishing many of the fine aircraft produced by the Kingdom. While far from the first tailless fighter project, the Pixie P.330 represented the most impressive and capable proof-of-concept yet--with more complex TRAC-RAD computers to keep the aircraft stable, and a powerful Laker jet engine to propel it, the Phobos quickly established itself as a pure-bred fighting aircraft. In its Mk. I, Mk. II, and Sea Phobos forms, the fighter accrued fame for its early victories in the Red Wars, particularly in the Cypta Campaign overseas. However, when the Sindereich invaded neighboring Knödigen, the aircraft abroad were brought home to fend off the inevitable assault on the homeland, where they valiantly fought until the conflict's uncertain conclusion.
