Description Warm up sketch from 12/12/17 that I forgot to upload.
I'm unsure of how long I spent on this piece exactly because I was more concerned with practicing in digital painting, rather than tracking time.

This is really great! I love the perspective, the detail in the mix of cloth and armor, and the stars and building. The colours are amazing, the attention to minor details such as the amount of lines on each arm brace to the shape of the chestplate are fantastic. I can't help but notice a few things, however.
For one, the fact that the window is completely solid is something that bothers me a little bit. I can understand if it was intentional, as in a blind or curtains were covering it, but the inclusion of folds or creases would make that apparent instead of making it look like an undetailed slate of concrete.
Alongside this, the lights on either side of the picture look odd and misplaced. I can't tell what the source is, as they seem to be nothing but floating, glowing rectangles in the sky. Personally, I have little to no clue about the universe this character comes from, so if this was intentional, forgive me ^^'
Lastly, the way his feet are planted upon the edge of the building slightly confuses and bothers me. His feet seem too far off the edge, and it looks like even a slight adjustment of his foot placement will make him topple over. It's hard for me to see if he is balancing on the arch of his foot or on his heel.
Other than those few things, I absolutely love this piece! Perspective and backgrounds are two things that I've always despised doing due to the immense difficulty for me, and I think you pulled it off amazingly! Again, the detail is beautiful, the sky is pristine, and the detail of each brick is wonderful. Great work!!
