I absolutely love lions... LOVE... They have such interesting and complex lives.. they never cease to intrigue me that's for sure. I deffinitly need to sketch more of them and I don't draw enough felines as it is.I'm actually going to try to get into the habit of uploading sketches and scraps more often, since it makes up the majority of my art anyways. ^_^
So here's just a couple male lion heads, one in full glory and the other much younger and immature.

Amazing sketches dude! I also draw this type of wildlife, but most of the time I take models to improve my art, from pictures of wildcats and other things, i need to practice more on these art fields

I really appreciate these. I have been looking for somewhere that I could go to find good reference for lion sketching. These help, and they look really good. I especially like the proud roaring lion
