EDIT Twitter picture submitted it as a JPG so I updated with the PNG!! ALSO THANKS SO MUCH FOR ALL THE COOL COMMENTS GUYS?????? I feel so spoiledSo I'm attempting to submit this on the DA app by pulling the image from my Twitter so tell me if it's pixel-y or blurry or the Mona Lisa or something ANYWAY LOOK AN ART TRADE!!!! With Esquitax !!!!!!! I'll post images of their lovely character later HERE HE IS AHHΒ but yes AURORAS I oscillate wildly between thinking they turned out okay to hating them. Must practice more!!!

Ahem. I also love the snow and the reflection of the aurora on the snow- you NAILED THAT SO MUCH. And the snow looks like fluffy snow. Like I want to jump into it and make snow angels. YES. AND PLEASE DO NOT GET ME STARTED ON THOSE TREES.
Okay onto those Trees! XD I do not know how you do it- but those trees are amazing. The snow and the way it sits on the branches just it looks like it has such weight and volume.
AND THE CHARACTER?! I love how there is this little trail by the tail where the tail is resting in the snow, and how everything reflects the light in all the right places and the anatomy looks so good. AND I LOVE HOW THERE IS GLOW UNDER THAT SNOW FROM THOSE PAWS. You're perspective is bang on and I love it.

idk I really like how you did them honestly they look so cool *A* I just draw some scribble lines in the direction I want it to go and then use a motion blur filter on them. Then reduce the opacity, duplicate the layer (sometimes shift it up some) and set it to color dodge to get that glowyness ;v;

Dude man those auroras are sexy as hell. You really did an awesome job making them look 3d and actually..set into the environment. So many times I see artists (myself included) struggle to keep them from looking pasted on to the sky, but you nailed it on the head there. Also the way you pulled the colors of the character into the aurora is just fabulous, it really unifies the color palette! Β
Out of curiosity, would you be up for a collab or trade in the near future? If you aren't busy I'd love to swap some art with you sometime!Β

YES. YES OMG ALL OF THIS.Β One of the hardest things about auroras for me is making it look like they're retreating into the distance and not just moving up and down?????Β Like I did an aurora I REALLY liked a few years ago (it was that old trade with you actually!) but I looked at it again and I just totally didn't even try to do that which is probably why it turned out.Β I still need to figure out how I made it so clear though.Β
BUT ANYWAY YES I'd be so down for a collab and/or a trade WHICHEVER or both whatever you want!!!!Β I love your stuff omg
