WHOO full commission for Hotwert on FA of his character Mia (LOVE her she's so pretty!) and a friend's character Kiburi enjoying each other's company somewhere high up over the jungle. Drawing those weird pointy rock mountain things was bizarre. But FUN and there's yellow everywhere yes. Backgrounds are the best aaaaalala.THINGS:

It really reminds me an very nice book "The City of Beasts" of Isabel Allende: a fascinating ecologist/fantasy story with a pair of kids (an american boy and a venezual/half indio girl) that discover an abandoned city in the south american jungle (there mysterious creaturers, magic, uncontacted indio tribes etc..).
The look of the horizoon and the cliff and the sun/clouds and lights really dragged me again in the memories of such book (even if we're in africa and not south america xD) because in some way reminds me the ones i've read in the book and gives me the same feeling of beauty.
BTW in that book the boy itself shape-change into a Jaguar x3
It's a three book series... the first one it's the best (sadly the third one i've found it a bit repetitive).

OOOOH that sounds like a neat book! I love those ancient South American places too! And YES I can totally see that! Both have the sort of vast expanse of jungle and everything! How neat!
